Getting to Know Me

I have had a lifetime of experience, in some form or another, pursuing the writer’s life. My grandmother encouraged the child Lisa to write poetry, which she then submitted for publishing in the local newspaper – what a THRILL for an elementary school-age kid. From there to being published in the Federal Register, it’s always exciting to see your name in print. But my writing wasn’t always published in a manner that gave me credit for the writing – as a matter of fact – most of the time it was not. Although a lot of my career roles did not include a title that even hinted at being a writer, I have always managed to make writing a part of it – for the benefit of the agency, the partners, the cause. And it is just as fulfilling, if not more – knowing that my contributions have made a difference for others. Now that I have spent a lifetime developing a myriad of skills, I am ready to work with clients to help support their needs and achieve their goals.
